Excavation Foreman
Wagner Ranch Services strives to conduct business with complete honesty and integrity. We believe in doing the best job possible for a fair price. - Applicant should have experience operating most types of construction equipment (road graders, excavators, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, etc.) and be capable of producing excellent finished results.
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a good record, a Class A CDL is preferred.
- Applicant must have experience reading plans and setting grades.
- Applicant must be physically able to climb in and out of equipment, do manual labor, and be capable of working long days when needed.
- Applicant should have supervision experience and must be capable of running a crew in an efficient and professional manner.
- The supervisor will be expected to manage all phases of the job and must be able to coordinate workload, schedule, budget, and other employees.
- We are not looking for an “operator” who wants to sit on a piece of equipment all day. Applicant must be willing to do whatever is required by the job, even if that means getting down in the trench to run a wacker or a shovel.

Laborer
The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Valid driver's license
- Previous experience in construction.
- Physically being able to do manual labor.
- Minimum requirements: valid driver's license
- Skills needed: being able to do manual labor, and previous experience in construction
- Years of experience: No specific amount.

Equipment Operator
The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Commercial and residential excavation work including underground, utilities, and surface grading
- Minimum requirements: operate loader, dozer, excavator, and blade.
- Skills needed: (same as the minimum requirements)
- Years of experience: 2
- Responsibilities: commercial and residential excavation work including underground, utilities, and surface grading
- Demographics: male, 20-50 y/o

Admin Position
The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Answering the phone, assisting managers with permitting, record keeping, running errands
- Minimum requirements: QuickBooks experience, part-time that may develop into a full-time position
- Skills needed: good with customers in person and answering the phone
- Years of experience: 2
- Responsibilities: answering the phone, assisting managers with permitting, record keeping, running errands

Project manager-superintendent
Wagner Ranch Services performs a wide variety of work including road building, installing underground utilities, digging foundations, site grading, concrete and asphalt prep, septic systems, pond digging, culvert installation, stream bank restoration, and reclamation. We are looking for someone to manage and perform work on all types of projects.
Qualifications:

Class A CDL Truck Driver
Wagner Ranch Services operates trucks with lowboy, side dump, belly dump, and belly dump with pup trailers. We also operate dump trucks with and without a pup. Our lowboy typically hauls our own construction and crushing equipment. The other trucks typically haul various types of gravel from our quarries to our retail yard or make deliveries to customers, but we do some work for other companies as well. We are looking for a driver that can do all of the above, but our immediate need is someone with considerable lowboy experience.
Qualifications:
- Wagner Ranch Services strives to conduct business with complete honesty and integrity. We believe in doing the best job possible for a fair price. We also believe in conducting work safely and without damaging equipment. It is of the utmost importance that our employees share these same core values.
- Driver should have a valid Class A commercial drivers license. Doubles and tanker endorsements are preferred, but not required.
- Driver must be physically able to chain down loads, handle blocking, climb in and out of equipment, and be capable of working long days when needed.
- Driver must be able to make deliveries, talk to customers, as well as calculate and accept payments for materials delivered. Our customers are extremely important to us so good customer service skills are very important.
- Prior experience operating construction equipment is preferred (for loading/unloading equipment).
- Experience passing through ports of entry is also preferred.
- Current or former MSHA training would also be beneficial.
- Driver must be willing and able to perform basic inspections as well as routine maintenance and repairs. Our expectations are for drivers to maintain their trucks in excellent condition, make minor repairs and adjustments on their own, and assist our mechanics with more involved work. It is the driver’s responsibility to keep the trucks in good working order and in compliance with DOT regulations.

Finish Heavy Equipment Operator
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a good record, a Class A CDL is preferred.
- Years of experience: 10
Skills needed:
- Being able to operate a loader, dozer, excavator, blade and skid steer.
- Experience with commercial and residential excavation work including underground, utilities, and surface grading, digging foundations, site grading, concrete and asphalt prep, septic systems, pond digging, culvert installation, stream bank restoration, and reclamation.
Responsibilities:
- Applicant must have excellent finish grading skills. We typically finish with road graders and tracked skid steers.
- Applicants must be able to figure out and set grades.
- Applicant must be physically able to climb in and out of equipment and do manual labor.
- Availability to work extra hours if needed.

Aggregate Crushing Foreman

Qualifications:
- Applicant should have experience operating most types of crushing equipment (impactor crushers, jaw crushers, cone crushers, screen plants, stackers, excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, etc.).
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a good record, a Class A CDL is preferred.
- Applicant must be physically able to climb in and out of equipment, do manual labor, and be capable of working long days when needed.
- Applicant must be willing to do whatever is required by the job. Additionally, applicant needs to be calm, professional, and capable of making good decisions under stressful situations. Applicant must lead by example and be able to teach and help other employees grow.
- The right person will be supplied with a company pickup.

Safety Manager
Wagner Ranch Services performs a variety of work, from dirt work on construction projects to gravel crushing in coal mines. We are looking for a person to manage our safety program company-wide.

- Extensive experience with construction and mining operations is required. Knowledge and experience with OSHA and MSHA regulations is also required. Applicant should have prior experience with safety and training programs.
Safety manager will be responsible for:
- Equipment damage inspections and reports
- MSHA compliance
- OSHA compliance
- Task training
- Developing procedures
